I'am runnig XP Pro What Anti Virus/Firewall software to you people recommend? Thanks

I personally use Computer Associate's EZ Anti-Virus (http://www1.my-etrust.com/). The price could be better ($24.95 1st year then $12.95 annual renewal) but it's suppose to be one of the better programs out there. I've never had a problem; in fact, it did detect a virus (I forget which one) a co-worker unintentionally sent me.

For a firewall, I use the free version of Zone Labs' Zone Alarm (http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp?lid=zadb_zadown). I currently use BlackIce for work which is painful. Of the two, I much prefer Zone Alarm. In fact, my company is making Zone Alarm Pro (not the free version) the standard going forward. Hope this helps.

Yep... I agree. It isn't pretty but it works and it's free.

Black ice is one of the poorest firewalls you could ever use. Lots of exploits that they have not addressed. Get rid of it immediately!
