me and my girlfriend ordered her parts on saturday night from both newegg and mwave. i have confidence that newegg will be here by friday, but i have my doubts about mwave. we just chose the standard shipping from both websites. what do you think?

I recently placed an order with New Egg on Wednesday morning, and received it Friday afternoon of the same week. That was just the standard FedEx Saver shipping, without rush handling. It was shipped from NJ and I'm in WA.

Why did you order from both places ? And I know that newegg uses fedex saver, but it has been a while since I ordered from mwave, and I can't remember what their standard shipping is, but voted yes to both, bot the odds for the mwave order aren't as good. My stuff will be here tomorrow (ordered friday). Its at the airport now. (might be wednesday)

i ordered some things from mwave because they were cheaper duh

man i love being british. I can order parts from dabs.com early morning and depending on stock and the weather get them the next afternoon with no extra charge. doesnt always happen, sometimes i have to wait whole day

I placed an order last night around 1:30am from newegg (all the parts for my new rig) and I put Rush Handling on it. It was at step 2 about 15 min. ago, so I'm guessing it'll be here sometime this week, preferably by Thursday since I plan to leave early Friday and have the new machine up and running by mid Saturday. Everything else I've ever ordered from newegg has arrived atleast 1 day earlier than expected.. but I've never ordered from mwave, so I'm not sure how their shipping works.

Lucky, living on the east coast sucks for that reason alone. I wish Newegg would have a Will Call window for their Tennessee warehouse, it's only about 40 miles from my house and I wouldn't mind driving there to pick my stuff up.

Easy way to find out is to wait until FedEx gets the order, then check the tracking info.

I think you should have them. Ordered Saturday - it should be given to FedEx on Tuesday. That should get it to you on...I'd say maybe Thursday. FedEx seems to have a major distribution center in Indianapolis, and your profile says you're in Illinois. I'll bet Thursday.

I don't know about MWave though; if they use FedEx too, then Thursday for them too. It's been a long time since I've bought from them. They beat Newegg by $1 on a case I wanted recently. MWave wanted around $16 to ship it though. Newegg asked for nothing. Newegg wins.

I'm in Michigan and if I placed that Newegg order it would not arrive until the following Monday.

For me at least their internal processing of order related paperwork is extremely slow. The last order I placed show at step 2 of 5 the day I received it. I received the tracking number the day after I received it. I received the email invoice two days after that.

They're really slipping from my perspective. But I'm still ordering through them for now.
