What are some of your quirks?

I put my right shoe on first. Sometimes if I'm in a real hurry the left goes on first and then I feel weird.

I have no shame when going to the bathroom, if a good friend or girlfriend is in the shower or using the sink, and I'm in a somewhat hurry and have to go, I have no problem taking a poop in front of them. Strangely, the guys seem to be much more grossed out of it then the girls (my personal theory is that girls are used to seeing people sit when going to the bathroom). No girls has ever mentioned that it was weird until pointed out by a guy. I don't see whats weird about it.

I'm also a very gassy individual, I fart and burp all the time, especially giving the right food combination. I also poop 4-5 times a day, I have IBS-D. Interestingly enough, I'm dating a girl that has IBS-C, which means that she is constipated and only goes every 3-4 days (sounds pretty bad to me).

...Is that really your best guess at why girls don't mind you taking sh!ts infront of them? I think it's 'cause they like seeing Mr. Wanky hanging out.

EDIT: Maybe this is also why the guys are slightly put off? :Q

I don't use butter on anything. I use the fat free calorie free butter flavored cooking spray. I put it on toast, in eggs, on Grilled Cheese Sandwiches...everything.

I do this all the time. Its especially bad when the joke just makes you smirk and some girl thinks you are pathetically trying to smile at her.

Me too. My body is always moving in some way. I'm either tapping my foot, rocking my leg, or doing some kind of movement. I can't stand being still.

When I sleep, I HATE it when the sheets/covers touch my toes. I'll usually prop up the covers in a mini tent arangement at the bottom of the bed to give my feet some room.

I can't stand the sound of a metal fork against teeth. The sound of the fork rubbing against teeth when some people eat (when the pull the fork out of their mouth) kills me. I'm getting goosebumps typing about it...

Using a drill freaks me out (even though I do so very often). It gives me a bad mental picture of a dentist scraping his instruments against your teeth, which I really hate.

I don't sleep on a pillow. I use a rolled up blanket.
I try not to walk on the high-traffic areas of the carpet. I'll walk down the sides of a hallway to wear the carpet down more evenly.

I like to imagine shooting people in the face whilst walking down the hallways of my place of employment. I smile and nod at the passers by but in my head i'm raising a shotgun and exploding heads against the walls. Its entertaining to me, keeps the long walks interesting.

PS hot chicks don't get the shotgun treatment.

Also, every time I drive over a bridge, I wonder what it would take for me to get the car over the guard railing. Especially the Goethals or Verrazano.

I am unable to write with a pencil. Seriously. The sound it makes against the paper to me is akin to what others feel when hearing a chalkboard being scratched. I should add that I can't stand to hear someone else writing with a pencil, either, as it has the same effect.

I have to be able to see the exit if I'm sitting down anywhere, I look for cameras whenever I step into a public place, I have to constantly wash my hands after they do almost anything, I become very nervous when strangers get within an arms length of me, I have to look at practically every window and roof when I'm walking in the city, and I hold my breath in the subway. That's what I can think of so far.

Wait, kind of like thetxstang, I can't stand paper being rubbed together for the same reason.

Most of them deal with numbers and doing things the same number of times, also keeping things "even".

I over-analyze EVERYTHING. Many times I won't say anything, but people who know me know I'm constantly analyzing the situation and creating "what if" scenarios in my head so I can choose the "best possible course of action."

This "habit" didn't start until recently (a few years ago?), and honestly it's driving me nuts...
