What are the best and the most disappointing concerts you've attended?

Best: Fear Factory at the Madison Theater in Peoria in the Spring of '00. They played for nearly 2 hours!!! Awesome energy. They also had System of a Down, and Spineshank who put on good shows. Probably one of the worse bands I've heard in concert was Hed PE. they were between Spineshank and SOAD. VERY dissapointing.

Runner up for best show was TOOL on their Lateralis tour this fall.

Which brings me to the WORSE band I've heard live - Tricky. Why TOOL chose them as an opening act I will never know.

Best would be this local DFW band called Rhythm. Absolutely incredible.

Best: Marilyn Manson in the pit in 97 when he was'nt all foo foo.
Runner Up: OzzFest 97 when Black Sabbath Returned.
Worst: Metallica in 2000 - Made us wait 1 hour before their set, crowd was constantly fighting in the pit (like people getting jumped) their set was like 3 hours long and I was dieing of thirst...traffic was like 4 hours long...etc.

Best: No One, Rammstein, System of a Down, and Slipknot...Pledge of Allegiance Tour
Not a big Slipknot fan but they put on a fun show and the pit was craaazy. Rammstein's lead singer lit himself on fire for the first song, which deserves points...System is one of my favorite bands. No One was alright too, and they all just rocked.

Worst.. would have to be 2 performances at the Summer Sanitarium tour.. Kid Rock.. his show was crap. "Wow, a big inflatable middle finger.. when's the 10 minute organ solo ending?" And Metallica.. but that was mainly cause James, the lead singer, was in the hospital.. they had Jason singing for em.. Jason sounds like a constipated giraffe.. along with other guests like Kid Rock and Jon Davis.. it just wasn't Metallica I guess. But their free concert they held to make up for it was all good.
