What are the best corded mice out there?

I couldnt use anything besides a G7 personally.
I hate wires, and i've used my neighbours G5, and I own a G7. No difference in performance or lag as far as I can tell, the only real differences were the texture of the mice and the weight, as well as the battery issue.
But considering you dont get annoying wires in the way, the G7 for me is a dead cert.

There is no lag with this mouse at all, and with 2 battery packs you never run out of juice. It's a great mouse.

If you like teh alternatives, there's the Razer Viper.

Logitech is always recommended because they have great mice, and if you get the older ones, like MX-510, they're cheap too.

The best in my opinion is the logitech G5. I like the logitech shape.

I take back what I said. Being the proud owner of a G5 now, I can honestly say it's my favourite mouse.
If the G7 was lighter, and had the better grip, then I might reconsider

i bought a mx518 yesterday, the only thing thats differentfrom the g5 and g7 is the resolution and the report rate

g5 & g7 - dpi- 2000 report rate - 500/sec

mx518- dpi - 1600 report rate - 125/sec

but, i found out last night.... that you could fix that 125 to go 1000, so my mouse now, outperforms the g5 and g7 in reports per second at 1000/sec and has a 1ms response time
