I would say 7068, the 707- sometimes gave me a bright desktop after exiting a game.

Goto Rage3d Forums also if you have not.

Using 4.13.7072 which are the Special Purpose drivers. They seem flawless right now.

7062 and 7068 corrupted menus in MS combat flight sim 2. 7072 had bright desktop issue and failed install at least for me. Currently using WHQL 7041's from 3dchipset.com. Just my personal preference.

Wow never got the bright desktop problem. I like the 7072's. I haven't had any problem in any games and the performance is good. The image quality is also the best from all the other ones I used.

The next would be a tie between the 7041's and the 7068's. I found both have a couple minor issues.

Agree with the above. Never seen a bright desktop either. I have never had any particular issue with any of the drivers. 7072's and DX8 are working well. The only game issue I have is UT with Loki OpenGL and S3TC. The 7072's (finally) fixed that texture corruption problem, but crash with a GPF unless the game is started in D3D then switched to OpenGL.

I'm having problems with the 7072 drivers. I get the bright desktop and my TV isn't detected. I was able to use TV-out fine with the 3056 drivers, but they were slow. Does anyone know how to get TV-out working with the 7072s?

I also get the "desktop whiteout" problem when exiting games with the 7072 drivers.

I have found the best combination for my system is the 7068's & DX8 in Win98SE, & the 3073's with DX8 in W2K.

Combat FS2 works fine for me with the 7068's, although with the 7062's the menus where so corrupted the game was unplayable.

>They seem flawless right now

not being able to record from an external source is a major flaw right now.
