Women LOVE Tall Men

Tall gorgeous women will not date a short man....unless he's filthy rich (where no rules apply).

When visiting Nordic countries, I feel at home since men are more at eye level and the mostly blonde women that want to get to know you are great looking. WIN/WIN.

Negatives:
Clothes need to be bought at Tall stores if you want it to look good. Getting an XXL off the rack may give you sleeve length you need but the fatman girth will make you look sloppy.

Old buildings in Europe, etc are the only places where you'll need to duck a little.

I've never had anything but advantages.

Well, some amusement park rides are hard to get into, but I cope.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but a downside to being 6'4"+ is that you're always assumed to be the center in pickup basketball games, and are often referred to as "the big guy". God forbid I come out towards the 3-point line sometimes, people try to tell me to get underneath the basket when I can shoot from long range better than they can.

at 5'10 I think most urinals are too high up for me to piss with comfort. Is this just me?

Why would someone over six feet tall even try to get into a stroller?
Hah, I think I actually laughed out loud a bit ...

I'm 6'2" and I too have issues with beds...
Twin or Full beds are just too short, Queen sized beds, I can sorta lay diagonally and my feet stay on.... King beds are the shiznit...

My biggest issue though, is usually when going into basements, that last step or two down the stairs .... the ceiling seems to ALWAYS start too soon ..... Not an issue in newwer construction, but most houses 20+ years old seem to have this issue... Also, ceilings are a problem in most "cape cod" style houses once upstairs ....

for somebody who's actually "tall" and over 6'4" ... I'd think these issues would all be amplified quite a bit .... then there's cars with lack of headroom and the like ....

I have short legs, and a tall torso, and rather long arms .... so legroom is never an issue for me .... but if my legs were 3 or 4 inches longer, life would be a lot more challenging ....

I'm 6 feet even bare foot, so I guess 6.1 with shoes on. I find that I am taller than most people I encounter when I am out and about. There are of course a lot of folks taller than me but most it seems aren't. It makes me think that people taller than me must very, very rarely encounter people their sizer or taller.

Hah, I feel like a giant walking through Wal-Mart. This particular Wal-Mart is full of first-gen Mexicans. I often encounter full grown men, even some older than me who look like they are 5 feet or less. These guys couldn't weigh more than 100 lbs.

You don't fit in most cars. I have a friend who is 6'7" and you'd be surprised how many cars he doesn't fit comfortably in.

Yeah, I am 6'2" and I don't feel "tall"

Though, thinking about it and reading this thread, I supposed I am taller than most of my friends, and some of the things in this thread have annoyed me before.

Girls over 5'3 are unattractive. < 5' and I am in love!

that's like the most pedo thing I've ever read on AT

Short girls are hot...period.

over 5'3"???

i think the average height for women in the U.S. is 5' 4"

so you are saying you are over 5'3" then?

I don't know if this happens to other guys but I'm constantly being mistaken as being taller than I actually am. I'm not thin but I'm not fat either. I think its probably my body proportions. One thing I do love is the feeling of walking on campus and seeing the reactions of short insecure guys who tense up as I walk by. Its just so funny. I guess my being Asian may have something to do with it

Another thing I like about being tall-ish is the presence. I'm tall enough that I'm probably the tallest in the room but not so tall that I look like a freak. People tend to notice you more and it gives a great boost for first impressions.

At only 6'1 it's doubtful that you'd be the tallest one in a room unless you're the only one in it. 6'3 and up I'd consider tall.
