What are the downside to being tall?

Low doorways, I walk into tree branches if I'm not careful (almost put one in my eye yesterday ...), I don't fit in the backseat of most cars, there are some cars I wouldn't fit in period, and they tend to be the really fun ones (I'd like to built a gt-40 replica later in life, and my height limits my choice as to which kit I can use), being with a short girl can sometimes present problems (usually fun to solve, though).

All this said, I love being tall and wouldn't trade down for anything (6'6")

Another thing I like about being tall-ish is the presence. I'm tall enough that I'm probably the tallest in the room but not so tall that I look like a freak. People tend to notice you more and it gives a great boost for first impressions.

At only 6'1 it's doubtful that you'd be the tallest one in a room unless you're the only one in it. 6'3 and up I'd consider tall.

Eh you'd be surprised. Many shorter people tend to misjudge the height of people taller than them. I'm constantly being mistaken for being much taller than I actually am. There are tons of guys in the 5'10" range who try to pass off being 6' so that contributes to the misinformation.

According to this link only 5% of males are taller than me. You make it seem like everyone is 6' tall.

What a bunch of fucking whiners in here. I'm 6'6" and the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. Btw, 6'1" is not tall.

I spent a couple weeks in china. I thought I was tall here at 6'6", I was like a goddam celebrity there. People would stop and stare, and have their pictures taken with me, pretty entertaining, actually.

And the crowds never bothered me because the crowds always stopped at elbow height.

Can't fly fighter planes... die earlier if you don't keep heart in shape.. can develop sloth because hight hides weight very well..all cars today are chopped besides effeminate beetle so you have to pimp seat to fit in cars. Basically it sucks I wish I was 5'8"

What advantages? I stopped getting in bar fights after leaving college.
