Can anybody tell me which are the good hi speed/broadband internet services available in detroit,MI.

I would recommend checking DSLReports.com to find a broadband provider and read reviews.

Then search GetConnected.com and Dell Broadband for hot deals.

 

I have Comcast in Metro Detroit and I'm perfectly happy with the service. Good luck.

Sadly, there aren't too many options. I think the choices are Cable, Earthlink DSL, or SBC-Yahoo DSL.

I recommend the SBC-Yahoo DSL for $15/month on a one year contract.

Yeah, im in metro detroit too and know im paying too much for my sbc yahoo dsl. i get 900 down and 200 up for 26 bucks a month, and the stupid contract is holding me.

where can I get a good deal?

windsor has cogeco, its pretty high up on broadband.com

Downtown Detroit or metro Detroit? Comcast is the big one here but some parts in metro Detroit also have WOW or Brighthouse for cable choices. Yahoo has DSL in most parts but the cable speeds here crush DSL speeds.

If you get DSL make sure you get a 2Wire modem.
