Movies - 300, Black Hawk Down, Goodfellas... unless you're made of money, you're going to want to rent rather than buy. Blu-Ray movies are always $20-$30, and IMO that's too much, unless you will watch it over and over again.
Games- Motorstorm is a good game, but it's lacking in off-line content. If you enjoy playing online, and you like the gameplay (download the demo and see for yourself), then it is a good buy.
Rainbow Six: Vegas is a very good game as well. If you're a fan of more tactical, realistic shooters, then you'll love it.
Ninja Gaiden: Sigma is good as well, although it's very difficult (I know the Xbox NG was, at least.)
Oblivion is a must-play if you haven't played it already on PC/360. Unless you absolutely hate RPGs, you're going to really enjoy it, and it's definately worth the money - there's not that many other games that will keep you playing for a solid 100 hours.
As for future games.... GRAW 2 will be coming out on the 21st... you can download the demo now.
