Just choose who you want to date. It sounds like you are torn between 3 different people, your ex, this girl that is showing interest, and this other girl. If you really want to get back with your ex, then work on that! If you want to get with some new girl, than pursue her, who cares about what your ex thinks! Just figure out which one you want the most, if one turns you down, then there are 2 others in line!

don't have any expectations of getting back together with your ex. it'll just make it harder for you to get a sense of closure and move on with your life. it sounds like there could be something special between you and this new girl. don't let whatever remaining feelings you have for your ex get in the way of possibly being happy in a new relationship.

Go out with that new girl, sounds like theres definently something there you shouldnt let it pass you by. That's it. If the answer is not "yes", then this is not the person with which you want a long relationship. And DON'T expect that someone is going to change in the future, so you should be with them now to assist in that change or wait for it. Remember, not every time the answer is "yes" is going to be the person you marry, or stay with a long time. But every time you answer "no" you've identified a person that you ought not consider a real, or long-time relationship with.

Totally, I agree with having regrets about what you have done, not what you haven't done. It only makes sense that way, or you'll hate yourself for never making a move.

But DDCSpeed, make sure you execute your procedure with not only a back up/out plan, and with an ulterior motive so that she cant really tell that you're interested. If you're too shy to let her know of course.

anyway, what's this with your X dude? but if you're really still thinking about your X, the BEST thing you could do is go out with the new girl!!! I've talked to this one girl who broke up with this guy and dated other people while the guy was just staying single all this time.
