My eyes are watering and I'm sneezing my head off because it is Spring here in the Deep South!

I'm allergic to:

Ragweed
Oak Pollen
Orange Blossoms
and other pollens
Various molds

Cat and Dog dander (especially Siamese cats and German shepherds, for some reason)
Kiwi fruit (I could go into anaphylactic shock if I ate one)
Mushrooms (I don't digest them)
Yeast (it makes me swell like a rising loaf of bread)

Anyone else want to share the joy with me?

edit: anaphylactic is a hard word to spell.

I reacted to every single category on the tests. Dust, mold, pets, pollens, you name it.

Makes for a miserable existance at times.

Milk and chocolate.
Doesn't stop me from having them though, and from getting sick

I'm pretty darn sure I'm allergic to oak but I've never been tested for allergies. Right now I have sneezng, sinus congestion, runny nose, watery and itchy eyes, and mild asthma after exercise. But my allergies follow a pattarn. They get worse and worse as time progresses. At the peak of my allergies, I'll need to use a nebulizer (sp?) with Albuterol for my asthma, hacking cough, constant sneezing, total congestion, and itchy and watery eyes. I have to stay home for a week. Luckily the allergies start wearing off quickly after that.

Hey Isla, how are you? Too bad you're allergic to all that...

I'm not allergic to anything... Unless sneezing occasionally due to looking at something bright like the sun.. That happens sometimes. Like I'll sneeze twice, and that's it.. strange

Sounds like you live under some big old oak trees, AMD. I have a similar struggle. See if you can't get a couple of air purifiers for the house, at least one for your room.

The only way I can get away from it is to live at the beach.

One day...

Edit: Hi RSI... I'm okay, but struggling to avoid a sinus infection from all the pollen in the air. I've heard that there is a treatment for allergies like mine, and I might look into it next year! Glad you don't have to deal with them, but you will have to go sit in the comfy chair.

Cigarette smoke. Makes me wheeze, cough, sneeze, and gives me sinus headaches. It also makes my throat hurt and I get itchy under the skin of my throat if that makes sense.

Lots of stuff here too Isla. Lucky you're not allergic to sperm. It can kill some women, sad to say.

eakers...

You better be careful chickadee. That could be the beginning of a latex allergy... not a good thing!

Let's see,

Milk, cheese and dairy products will kill me
Nuts will kill me,
Cats make me wheeze,
dogs aren't good for me either but better than cats
I got hives randomly from some sortof pollen last spring but we haven't figured out what
Ragweed used to get me, and that cross reacts with weird stuff

Because of all my allergies i'm now resistant to benadryl, my doctor told me to down half the bottle if i have an emergency, if that doesn't work down the other half.
