This is the first year I'm not getting money back, so my refund is about -$1200. Frankly after doing prelim calcs on turbo tax since I know i'm not getting back I've lost all interest in doing my taxes, maybe I'll get back to them next month. Or not.

Buys RRSP with it to lower my income tax and to offset the tax that I have to pay on investment capital gains.

I'm getting $72 back on federal, I owe $69 on state so I've almost got my withholdings perfect.

It'll go right back into my other accounts. No reason to treat it any differently than any other money.

I'm going to give mine to my grandmother.

I hope I don't fall climbing up onto the stage to stuff it into her g-string like I did last year.

Probably take a few hundred out for toys, buy new carpet for our upstairs, and then save the rest.

Paying down a credit card. Wasn't going to and then one of our dogs had a medical problem that required a stay overnight at the vet. $600 for that bill that I had to put on a credit card. So I've got to put something on it.

Not sure how much I'm getting back this year (got about $2000 last year) but probably using it to offset the costs of the guns I've bought recently. I may buy more of them, or accessories for what I have, or perhaps get a new LCD TV.

I usually pay, but I had a son last year and should get a healthy sum back. I plan on taking my wife out for a nice date and putting the rest into savings as our emergency fund (which went toward a new well pump a couple months ago).

It will go towards paying my furniture. Hopefully I get a decent amount. I'm guessing at least 1k. My bonus will be around 1.2k and I had 1k remaining from my shares so that will be a nice chunk alltogether.

What do people do that make them have to actually pay taxes and not receive any money? I've heard of people being stuck paying.

Kurosawa AK100 box set, $300
Weekend getaway & Strippers with a trusted friend $400
Hot Water Heater $400

The rest ... I haven't spent. I've been careless and allowed my CC balance to exist again, so I'll probably just pay it off and then stick what's left (if there is any), into a savings account (my home theater budget account .. hehehe), I am gonna eventually need some furniture and, a projector, and a screen .... so money will be good to have, as I haven't yet found out how to get them for free

I need to update my W4 again, I'm at 3 deductions, gonna try setting it to 4.

Saving a big chunk of it. The other chunk I might splurge on a 32" LCD for my room. Getting sick of my dark, faded 20 year old CRT.

Damnit! I started doing my taxes last night and I had 3 out of 4 of my W2s entered and i was getting $1630 back. I then put in my last W2 and it dropped to $730.

Paying off debt.

I was actually alarmed by how much I'll be getting back this year, I need to reduce my deductions.. I'd rather have the money throughout the year.

See, I am the opposite. I'd rather give more and get a chunk back later. I like the idea of a huge chunk of cash at the beginning of the year.
