I've been drinking Bombay Sapphire and tonic, and sipping on shots of Herradura Añejo with a lime. My wife had a couple of drinks with Belvedere and some weird version of flavored Pepsi I'd never heard of. We're liquor snobs, but it's okay since we don't drink that much. We'll be screwed if we ever decide to become alcoholics, though

"Normal" beer (BudMillerCoors) is mostly fermented rice sugar. The only beers that have a decent quantity of sugar in them are the oddball high-gravity microbrews that contain more sugar than the yeast can ferment. Most are in the 10 - 12 ABV range. If you're finding most beers are too sweet, then you're drinking the wrong beer.
