Yes it seems super lazy to drink a pre-mixed cocktail but the extra time in the barrel after it's mixed makes it absurdly drinkable.

Nice, but WAAY too sweet.

The somewhat rough aftertaste of JD kinda works here though, so while i'd give this Honey the thumbs down, i think in the future we might get something really good out of JD Distillery.

( i grew out of JD, but tonight i had a longing for times gone)

Also, WTF happened to 43% / 86 proof??? Its now a (sexually-challenged) 40% / 80 proof.

I absolutely love the 1554, the trippel isn't too bad, I think I'm a little more partial to three philosophers, it's like chimay blue with a hint of cherry.

Ditto. The 1554 was the bigger blind buy of the two, and I was definitely surprised. Their Trippel on the other hand seems really bland to me.
