Today will be Deschutes Imperial Smoked Porter. Haven't tried it before, but I suspect I'll like it decently enough.

Splitting a bomber with a friend, then, splitting a bomber of whatever he happens to bring, most likely something from Pipeworks since he really likes them and they brew a lot of stouts.

Then, after that, planning to visit my brother (king of homebrewing), he said he was gonna give me something for my birthday, hopefully it's a 4 pack of his "presidential stout" (similar to an APA/Black IPA, but with coffee/oatmeal added)

I haven't decided yet, however, I know it won't be rum. I wanted some rum last weekend and drank 2/3s of the bottle by the time I went to bed (around 8AM). Surprisingly, I felt good the next day.

Rum and coke is something I could never stomach. Far too sweet for me; seems to be the drink of choice for a lot of people though.

Generally, I would think the same for me, as I dislike a lot of sweet things. However, I used to drink a ton of soda, so I am used to it.

I stopped drinking caffeine though, so when I want to be drunk and not slow down, I will drink Red Bull and vodka. Oh, many nights I have done that. I suppose it also helps I am a very active drunk.

That explains the rum & coke love though, I never really grew up on soda pop so never really got into any drinks that use it as an ingredient.

The more I drink, the more energy I get and prefer to move. It helps I have a fairly high tolerance for alcohol and can stay pretty lucid most of the night.
