I'm a big fan of Cazadores, Milagro, Don Julio, Herradura and Gran Centenario. I'll get 1800, Lunazul or Hornitos, but those are more for mixing, and if you're tasting, you want a good sipper. I generally prefer resposados; blancos aren't aged, so they're generally a bit harsher, and añejos are aged for a long time, so the agave character can get overpowered by wood. That said, you might select a flight that features blancos, resposados and añejos so you can see how the flavor profile changes as the spirit ages.

The liquor store here has does have a pretty limited selection though. Some locations are better than others. I wish they'd stock more craft beers from other provinces, even some of the American ones. Though the system is skewed in favour of the big brewers. For a country known for its beer, they seem to stock way more wine and spirits. The Beer Store isn't any better. All they've got is the cheap swill brands for the most part.

The wife and I ended up going out for Southern food, so of course I had to enjoy a couple of mint juleps with my meal. And for dessert, a single barrel bourbon flight consisting of 3 of the 4 "B"s (Basil Hayden, Blanton's and Booker's; sorry Baker's). Now I'm back at home sipping on a glass of 1910 Canadian Rye. Life is good. Better if it can be enjoyed with a fine whiskey or four.
