I bought a beer called Dragon's Milk last weekend, and it is appropriate by name. I wasn't a huge fan, but I did love referring to drinking it as "milking the dragon".

Intriguing yet also mildly nauseating. :hmm:

That's my go to euphemism for masturbating.

Ugh, had the longest, most painful week. I think I am going to get some booze and try to finish Dragon Age: Origins tonight.

What do you guys think, beer? Any recommendations for a good RPG booze?

KT

Ommegang makes a line of Game of Thrones beers that have all been really good; the most recent was Valar Morghulis. Unibroue Trois Pistoles has artwork that is reminiscent of a fantasy landscape. Actually, you could probably just go through a craft beer store and pick out the first three bottles you see with dragons and be set. I did something similar with AC4: Black Flag last year, but I went for beers with a skull and crossbones motif as opposed to dragons.

Perhaps, I'm just too easily amused. >_> Asking the GF to come help me milk my dragon is just too fun.

And, for the medieval RPG, I would imagine you couldn't go wrong with mead. Either traditional mead or honey-wine should do.

Tonight is the PAC-12 championship, so while I haven't decided on what specifically I'll be drinking, I'm guessing there will be alcohol. I picked up a nice Appleton 12-year rum last week which makes a wicked rum old fashioned; aged rum, couple dashes of orange bitters, barspoon of rich demerara gum syrup, lime twist. Smashing stuff and a totally unique way to try rum.

Cool, did not know about the GoT beers, I'm going to look for those. I do like the Trois Pistoles as well; forgot about that one.

Yeah I thought about mead, but probably a bit too sweet for me.

Yum! Going to look for that. Thanks!

I think tonight, I am going to have a few margaritas and play some Destiny. I will also probably end up yelling while playing Fifa too.

You have FIFA 15? If so, worth upgrading from 14?

Mmmmmm Unibroue Trois Pistoles...one of my favorites.

Yep, one of those beers that get better as it warm up a bit. I'm getting one or twelve for tonight so I can pass the evening in the bathroom instead of with that annoying girl that I don't like...

Gotta find this. I love the review on beer advocate:
Oh baby, there it is, there is that Unibroue mastery. Dark fruits up front...raisin, plum, ripe pear, and cherry. If it stopped there that would be satisfying enough, but there is a walloping load of rum and dark chocolate lurking with a smattering of mellow winter spices and sweet malt. The aroma is out of this world, painstakingly complex, but in no way overwhelming.

Sweet, almost wine like in its layering and finish. Dark fruit once again, predominately raisin, plum, and fig. Malty, yeasty, with hearty winter spicing. So many strong flavors that the alcohol is nowhere worth giving a damn.

Still drinking margaritas. Almost through a 750 of tequila so I probably should stop. Eh, I've had worse.

It is a bit hard to play Fifa, so I might be hitting my limit. Strange how that is what I use to gauge my level of drunkard.

I had to buy some hooks to hang up my christmas balls. I stopped by at the bar and had a vieux - cola zero, while having a talk with some friends.

The 2014 Double Bastard was in stock at a local grocery store so I snagged a bottle. Should've snagged 12. This stuff is killer.

What is a good affordable entry one malt scotch to try out?

Also what is a good cheap light or gold rum?

Trader Joes holiday belgian is a unibroue brew, and it's damn delicious. Cheaper than chimay too.
