It really is...I had something I can't even remember, I thought it was Elijah Craig reserve, but I don't think it was...Russel's reserve! Single Barrel I think, it was just a skosh (seriously an RCH) below booker's, but it was damn good.Bookers is amazeballs. I need to drink some more blantons because it might take my #1 spot but its close. I've had Pappy 15 once and need more testing
I've been drinking the Woodford's neat and I really enjoy it that way. I think I saw Booker's in a sort of wooden box, so I will have to pick that up next time. Seems weird to put water in it, but I will try that. Thanks fellas.

How is the Double Oaked? I have not seen that around here, but it looks luscious on their website.
I've always loved bourbon in cocktails, but I am just starting to get into it on its own. The Woodford is the first bottle I've ever actually purchased and I love it, but now I'm getting intrigued by what else is out there.

You'll never beat booker's. Least I haven't. A nice glass of that, maybe a splash of water, it has the best mouth feel ever.
Lately Knob Creek Single Barrel has become my go-to bourbon.

along the scotch line, I've enjoyed Balvenie Doublewood often enough; however Friday had some 1978 Glenrothes. My lord, the smoothness and richness was out of this world.
I really could not believe that the older higher priced scotches would be 'worth' it.
very delicious.

Newcastle Werewolf its ok. Their brown ale is better.
