Just opened a bottle of Bookers. I've had it for ~10 years, and never tried it. Pretty tasty once I added some water. I tried it straight first, but it was hard to taste through the burning. 126 proof is a bit much. Watered down, it has a nice grassy taste, with a bit of caramel. I think I like it better than the Knob Creek I polished off earlier. I've been digging the bourbon lately, and the price break from good scotch is nice too.
^Hops flavor makes me want to vomit. It's like drinking a bottle of perfume... what am I doing wrong?
If it helps I like stouts, wheat beer, yeast-role flavored beer, and dislike piss-water and water-water (i.e. light beer and PBR).

So you're two generations older than she is.

i don't know if you can get it stateside, but my all time fav is OudinotI am done drinking... I started a bottle of Dom Perignon about two hours ago. Finished it and am not nearly drunk enough. I should probably not drink champagne so much, but I love it. The texture and the taste are just so great.
=(
I'm working on Bourbons lately.
