It was about $20. I forget exactly how much, but between $20 and $25. I got it when I was looking for a replacement for Pikesville. I was a little disappointed at first, but it's grown on me. For the ballpark price range, I like it better than Old Overholt.Heart me some Rittenhouse. How much is it locally for you?

I want to try finding that Heaven Hill bourbon you listed above. That sounds like it might be my rock bottom priced unicorn. It may end up being similar to the Pikesville if I'm lucky. That was a corn heavy rye, so not all that different from a bourbon.
It's a high crime to ship bourbon out of state. You get caught doing that it's big trouble. Otherwise I'd secret santa you a bottle
The more I drink this, the more I dislike it. I'll be happy when the bottle's gone, and I won't be getting it again. It's too sweet to take seriously, like a child's drink.
Soft and sweet, with herbal and honey notes. Tasty, but not very complicated. It's my least favorite of the three decent rums I've gotten lately, but I'd get it again. I think it was $35 for the bottle.
edit:
revising my review downward. It's a little too sweet, and leaves a stickiness on my lips. I still like it, but wouldn't want too many in a row.
