I tried scotch 30 years ago and HATED it. It tasted like burnt rubber.
I may have to try it again. Maybe it got better?
never had one that tasted like burnt rubber, but its not for everyone, i love scotch and hate bourbon

i'm just the opposite. love bourbon and hate scotch. tastes like fruity vomit.
Funny, that's close to my impression of bourbon :^D I can enjoy a glass or 2 of bourbon, but it doesn't sit well on my stomach. I'd throw up if I drank too much. I can drink scotch till I pass out, and wake up feeling great.
Tequila and scotch are the only two liquors I don't like. Shit, we used to drink Aristocrat vodka in a red cup on ice.
the crat is better then crystal palace and or whatever that shit we used to get in college was
fucking lighter fluid
So if you have a two year old bottle of ten year old scotch does that make it a bottle of twelve year old scotch?
Enjoying a (slightly thicker than normal) finger of port
Nope. The "aging" is in a wooden cask.
Oh. So keeping a sixteen year old in the basement for two years doesn't help the cause? But in a cask would work!
