As of last week, Dirt Rally 2.0, Metro Exodus, and Anthem... which has improved a bit since launch but there's still some outstanding issues.

I'm still on the fence about The Division 2... might just go the console route if I decide to get it.

Finished Metro: Exodus and enjoyed it, so now I'm giving Metro: Last Light Redux another play. It's still a really nice looking game.

Just completed a campaign of XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

Holy flaming dorritos Batman, there is a reason Firaxis is known as one of the best in the business for strategy games - this game is like digital crack. JUST ONE MORE TURN.

If you like Tactics games with some overworld strategy sprinkled in, this is your jam. If you like the emergent stories and gameplay that comes from chance based games, this is your stop. If you like becoming deeply attached to characters, then have them ripped away from you because you misjudged a situation, get on this ride.

The game's unforgiving difficulty, even on some of the lower difficulties, makes victory even more sweet when you manage to execute a perfect mission.

Somethings I learned early on:
- Build Satallites ASAP.
-Move everyone up to the blue line, then plan the next half of your turn.
-Keep your Squadsite/DoubleTap sniper alive at all costs.
-Dont be shy about using your items/explosives/secondary weapons.

From what I've read, the game's expansion Enemy Within rounds out the game rather well, so my next run will likely be after I pick up the expansion.

That was a hell of a journey, and my game ended on a very bitter sweet note with a Sniper and Support trooper that had made it through every mission sacrificing themselves to end the Alien threat. I expected the final cutscene to revive them but no, their bodies were right there...

I think a controller game is next on the docket. The DMC reboot (2013), Space Marine, Prince of Persia reboot, something like that.

Recently installed a GT 1030 in one of my SFF computers and it runs older games @1080 very well, so I've been revisiting some STALKER, Painkiller, Borderlands and Portal... you know since my backlog wasn't large enough. This little card is tight though and the fact that it can run these games better than say a vanilla HD 5870 or so could back in the day, without external power connection, is remarkable if you ask me. I wish there was a low profile single slot GTX card but this will do nicely.

Any of them worth playing; any of them worthy of skipping ?

The Warhorn is great but buggy and not enough content yet. I still play it a lot but honestly I'd say wait. It is in EA and only two guys developing the game....updates are slow.

Generation Zero is awesome. Though I'd recommend only playing this one if you have a friend or two to play with. Alone it gets too boring and repetitive but with friends? A solid FPS BLAST! Visually quite nice and man it runs great at 4k maxed out. I never see it dip below 70 fps for me. Really fun shooter but terrible inventory system. The latest update just fixed a load of bugs too.

Grim Dawn well...if you like TQ or POE or Diablo 2 then you might like Grim Dawn. After having spent 655 hours in POE; GD is a much needed ARPG fix for a more laid back and slower pace experience. Very solid game, artfully done with a load of content.

I am playing a little known RTS called Syrian Warfare. It is actually pretty good, but not very popular. I highly recommend it.

Plus, it offers an outlook on the Syrian conflict which is much more "true to life" as opposed to whats portrayed in the mainstream media.

Finishing another run through Wolfenstein - The Old Blood

I hate having to kill the final monster. It just wants to be left alone and hates noise. I can totally relate.

Replaying the whole Borderlands 2 series. Amazing how it doesn't get boring.

Recently have been playing with Cities Skylines again & Kenshi again after getting borade again of rimworld several months ago after getting bored of Diablo 3 and Kingdom Come. I'm gonna be looking for a decent new game soon, or else I will be playing with some Mount and Blade Warband Mods again or Rimworld mods again.

Kenshi fun? I plan on snagging it on the next sale.

Playing Elite: Dangerous. Surprisingly fun, I wasn't thinking I'd like it as much as I do. Having said that, I'm getting another Dwarf Fortress itch...

I was looking for a new MMO, I was going to go with ESO, the I tried out Black Desert Online and so far I am loving it, there is so much to do, so much to learn it can be overwhelming trying to figure it all out, it is definitely a grind game, in game currency is king, so if you have mad entrepreneurial skills this is one to check out,

Heck I am making money AFK fishing right now, while I am typing this.

Finally have some time for crysis 2. This is the fully patched version with DX11 support.
Looks nice with all graphics set at max. A lot of fun.

^Crysis 2 was prob the best of the series... unless you could the first half of the original game. It got kind of dumb toward the end imo.

I've been playing around with RAGE 2 but I think I'm just about bored with it. There's some Metro Exodus expansions coming out this summer so I want to wrap that up too. Pretty sure fall is going to be mostly Borderlands 3; I'd like to cut down the back log until then.

To be honest, i got also bored with the original crysis near the end. I did not finish the end boss part of the game. Just read a walkthrough of the game to see if it was worth it and ended uninstalling the game.
So far the story is nice with crysis 2, i am hoping for a decent ending.
Graphics are nice. But i have to say, Doom 2016 and the latest wolfenstein really put the bar really high for games with respect to graphics.
Although i really liked Prey (2017) as well.

Finally getting around to playing the Metro games. (Redux versions). It's strange because it seems way different than what I remember from playing the first Metro years ago (I only played for a few hours at that point).

I've been playing a pretty cool but not very known game titled 'Overload' (if anyone here remember the game Descent from the 90s, is more or less the same but in a modern version! It's made by the same creators of Descent by the way).

I've been also playing Ghost of a Tale. That game is truly beautiful!

I have played and am now taking a break from Skyrim (Vanilla Edition with high res DLC).

I have not liked a single Bethesda developed game i have ever played. Morrowind lost me the second my sword passed through a mudcrab cause my stats were not up to par, Oblivion's copy paste everything bored me after a few hours of playtime. Fallout 3 felt like the shell of a once great series and I just... lost interest about a dozen hours in. Its always been frustrating because at first glace Bethesda's games and worlds and lore is exactly the kind of thing I find myself drawn to but the actual dopamine loop of Bethesda's games just never hooked me. Then I played Skyrim. Hooooollllyyyy ****.

Skyrim feels like Bethesda sat down in a dark room for a week, got real honest with themselves, made some breakthroughs on what their games really are, and just got to work cranking out the most cleaned up, focused execution of what they do best. The garbage character sheets from the old ES games is gone. The garbage combat of the old ES games is gone. The art direction is tight and on point. Dozens of game systems have enough depth to make them inviting and fun to explore without excessive complexity to make them a chore.

I've found the secret to a fun playthrough is to set some limits and accept that you're not going to see all the content in this game on one play through and plan for additional characters. I'm 60 hours into a Redguard spell sword playthrough. I've completed the Companions and College primary questline while also working through the main quest. My next run will be a Bosmer sneak/spell archer who will run through the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves guild and Civil War questlines.

I haven't even touched modding yet, but any mods I install will only be for my second play through and will only be quality of life improvements (that god aweful inventory), no base game modifications.

Bethesda is actually capable of making good games.

While my main rig is disassembled for reasons, I've been playing through some Warhammer 40K: Space Marine. Solid beat em up and probably the last rendition of the 40K universe with any sort of talent or production value behind it as far as I can tell. God damn Games Workshop's inability to treat its Golden Goose with any respect by whoring out the WH licenses to anyone with a pulse has always baffled me.
