Worms for the 360. My roommates and I are finding that it's a great way to kill time and frustrate the hell out of each other .

I beat Super Punchout for SNES (through zsnes emu), it was fun figuring out the opponents fighting patterns etc. I love the save state feature, instead of having replay fights over from the beginning.

Might try to finish Final Fantasy II or if I'm really bored, grow crops on Harvest Moon.

Tried playing it for about 20 minutes. Gave up.

They're a lot better than they used to be.

I've been enjoying the PS3 on the 65" LCD. Burnout Paradise took up a lot of last night and today, keeping me from WoW and even Peggle and other PS3 games.

Likely possibilities for other games include Little Big Planet, GTA4, and I'm planning to get Metal Gear Solid 4 and Assasin's Creed Sunday off of a Craiglist seller.

Yeah they are true to the series and a little bit better. You couldn't strafe in RE4 or turn using the camera viewpoint (right stick) so it was hard to keep track of your surroundings and pre-RE4 the game had some pretty awkward and clunkier controls.

Give it another try, try not to think of it as your typical shooter because it's not meant to be a shooter, it's meant to be... well kind of a survival action game, it's evolved from puzzle-based horror to action with a horror theme but it's still an intense, overwhelming, survival game.

I'm loving it, already 30 hours in according to in-game stats and I'm having a blast with all the game modes and extras to unlock, the first few hours are a little weird because it seems like you'll never get a hang of it and the controls are simply too slow for the fast paced action but you'll pick it up and be slaughtering ganados (sorry, I don't like the term majini, it does nothing for me) effortlessly in no time.

I think a key element to enjoying the game is understanding the controls are deliberately configured like so and not just an epic failure by part of the developers, they know what they are doing, they know what they are getting into and they feel that for their game, the control scheme they chose is the more adequate for the feel they are trying to infuse into the game.

RE4 was slower than 5, which made it easier to me to keep track of what was going on. RE5 has way too much going on half the time and the controls just seem very slow. I loved RE4, but Im having a very hard time adapting to 5 for some reason. I'll wait till I can grab it for cheap at game crazy.

Lost Odyssey is a great game. I still consider it the best JRPG I've played in years.

LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only one addicted to this late to the game. This game is incredible. I just finished Virmire last night (up way too late).

I played Resident Evil 5, Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: Metallica.

RE5 and RB2 are amazing, of course.

GH: Metallica was okay. I found about a dozen or so songs to be enjoyable. It is hard to justify spending $60 for a dozen songs...good thing I rented it.

I actually prevent myself from playing it because I don't want to get addicted again. I fear what will happen when I go buy all the Fallout 3 DLC and get re-addicted to that...

I got a little further in Valkyria Chronicles over the weekend - the game does some things I consider obnoxious (invincible enemies?) in a few missions, and the focus on speed as the sole ranking modifier is stupid. Definitely not RPG of the year for 2008. That said, the game is still pretty great on the whole, and I'm definitely thinking I'm play a little of the New Game + mode when I get to it, maybe even get some of the DLC.

Oh, and quite a bit of Company of Heroes Gold - yes, I know I'm very late to that.

I actually ended up with virtually no game time at all this weekend. Only thing I did was help my son with Super Mario Galaxy for a few minutes. We're out of town next weekend so I'm likely looking at three weekends in a row of no gaming.

Oh! Other people addicted to ME? Yes! I've compelted another run through the game 3 or 4 weeks ago. This now brings me to 2 finishes on the X360 and 4 on the PC. I just love it. I swear I could run around the Citidal for 20 hours chatting with people, completeing quests and meeting new people.

I think ME2 is going to blow us out of the water. Bioware (claims) they've listened to the criticism from the gaming community and critics--and I think that shows with the additions made to the PC version--and will address them in the "dark" sequel.

Can you imagine? I love this game so much already and will readily agree that there are issues with the game--yet I played with more than anything last year.

I cannot imagine a Mass Effect game where the side quests are not only more abundant but also more interestingly designed.

I've been playing Chrono Trigger on the DS. Almost done and ready to trade in for the FF2 (4?) remake!

Is Blue Dragon any good? Looking to possibly pick that up after Lost Odyssey.

Finally finished GTA4. My last save date was 8/7/08, so yes, it's been quite a while since I've played it
