My pet peeve is not knowing what a phrase means or where it comes from.

Anyone know what the origin of the phrase "pet peeve" is?

Unsolicited phone calls. Ugh. I'm to the point where I don't answer the phone unless it's a number I recognize (via caller i.d.). On a sidenote, most people (non-computer geeks) think it's funny that I check my email more frequently than I do my voice mail. Is this wrong?

Just use MSN Messenger and Hotmail and you'll never check your email again! It pops up when you have a new message and it says from who...I know this isn't new but its great for me since its combined with MSN which I use a lot and my email...very convienent.
