Right now working on reading through a thesis on dust control. After that I have 28 sci-fi books lines up.
I started that around 2 months ago and forgot about it. Got distracted by Chuck Palahnuik's Survivor.I need to finish Under the Dome sometime.
Decision Points. I need to finish Under the Dome sometime.

I just finished The Evolutionary Void, by Peter F. Hamilton. Loved it, and the whole series.
The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss
I may have mentioned this is another thread, but no, no you don't. D:
For those of you reading Decision Points, what do you think?
Didn't like it? Hmm.
His writing was a little out of touch in that one, definitely not his best writing... but I loved the story.
Interestingly, I loved Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger. And that was a story people said you had to push through a little, because the following books in the series were much better. Granted, I also agree The Drawing of the Three and The Wastelands were much better books than The Gunslinger, but it wasn't hard to read it either.
Currently I am working through Gates of Fire

Really enjoying this one. Its told from the perspective of a captured Spartan squire telling his story to Xerxes. Starts a tad slow, but overall I am really liking this one.
I think next up is The Road.
Recently finished I Shall Wear Midnight by Terry Pratchett (latest Discworld book) and Inside Delta Force by Eric L. Haney
Meh, the story started out OK - if a little heavy on the "things cut in half by the Dome" - but just never went anywhere. Decent set up, with no pay off. I was especially disappointed in the premonitions in the epileptic girl's dreams, but that never really panned out. And the ending.. gah!
But yeah, I liked DT:Gunslinger (obviously.) Waste Lands was my favorite for a while, but I later trended towards Wizards and Glass. I was initially mad that it didn't advance the plot, but looking back, it was a great stand-alone tale that I've gone back and read frequently. Epic story-telling.
