What brand are you 100% loyal to?

There are two products I refuse to skimp on. Bread and toilet paper. Anything else I'm willing to weigh my options. But my bread has to be Brownberry and my toilet paper has to be Angel Soft. Accept no substitutes.

I'm not sure if it counts as brand, but for eyeglasses, I stick with zenni. Just this past weekend, because they were buy 1 get one free, my wife and I picked up 4 extra pairs of glasses.

For toilet paper, I almost exclusively get Scotts, and for paper towels, almost always Bounty. They really are better than the other name brands.

I totally agree, I have tried other brands of both paper towels and toilet paper, you might initially end up spending less but you end up using more due to the cheapness of manufacturing.

The only ketchup I'll buy is Heinz. That's a close as I get to exclusivity on anything.

Yeah, I guess that's about it for me.

Though even so, I'm not loyal to the brand. I'm "loyal" to products that I like. If a brand's product changes in a way that makes it unusable or otherwise undesirable, I'm going to ditch them in favor of someone else's product. If Heinz decides to start adding Grade B turkey vomit and ground gym mats to their ketchup, I'm not going to keep buying it. (Though I might be ok with mats that are exclusively used for yoga.)

The company doesn't much care about me, they care about getting some of my money. They're only loyal to me so long as I can wave money at them occasionally, and I'm only loyal to them so long as they sell stuff I want.



Edit: Something that might come close is "Made in Japan." My experience is that that usually means the thing is going to have a reasonable chance of working well.
