Going for the "cheapest" is kind of silly, imho. Think about it... Gas will vary maybe $.05. If you have a 15 gallon tank, we're talking about a whopping 75 cents. What else would you go out of your way for to save a whole 2.5%???

.75*5*52 = saves me at least 195 a year (I usually average usage of about 12-15 gallons a day on my truck)

Dude.
They are all the same.
A friend of mine owns the distributor and about 200 stations.

I'm hoping that's some sort of work truck... If it's just a commuter vehicle, and you are that concerned about costs, you would be exponentially better off in a more efficient vehicle.

either Shell or 76 .. which ever is less busy and closest to my house. Im near E .. can't afford to pump gas at the moment.

getting a decent 200 miles on 8 maybe 9 gallons. it's an 89.

if im at the track ill run VP race gas, 114 octane - 1 gallon to every 5 gallons of 93octane

Not neccessarily true. There are two gas stations within .5 miles of me, the one closer to the expressway is always 20 cents per gallon higher for each grade than the one that is farther from the freeway. :Q

They turned into.... damn, can't really remember.. It was either Chevron or Texaco...

Maybe both, since Chevron-Texaco is the same company? lol....

Exactly. Gas is something i have to buy every week, no if's or buts about it. saving that .75 a week or how every much it averages out too is more money in my pocket.
