We had a Cocker Spaniel. She passed away about 9 years ago.

Right now we rent, so no pets at all. (Unless its a fish/bird/hampster, or something like that.) I would like to have a English Bulldog someday.

I have a Miniature Doberman Pinscher. Big dog in a little dogs body, perfect for an apartment. German Shepherds are my favorite.

Also had a Rott/Sheppard but he roamed the neighborhood too many times and he is gone now I couldn't keep an eye on him and he was an escape artist if I ever saw one. He would dig under the fence, jump the fence(6 foot high), or just barrel all 120 pounds of himself through the fence. I had him for 5 years, and I rescued him from the pound. I think about him everyday, and I hope someone adopts him that has some land that he can run on. Before you guys jump on me, just think of the liabilty if he did happen to attack someone.

We have two terrier mutts. One looks like a lion, the other looks like a sheepdog. But they are both terriers.

My dad's favorite dog is the Miniature Schnauzer, which is probably the next dog we'll get.

Had a miniature collie up until 5 days ago. He was 11.5 yrs old. We had to put him to sleep due to an operation that went bad. Before that and when I was a little kid we had a shelty dog (similar to Lassie only black and white colored hair). We had to put him to sleep to at 12-13 years old. :/

I won't be getting my own dog for awhile, these were family dogs that my parents bought. If I get a dog though it'll be a miniature collie. They're pretty low maintenance and are good dogs.

We have some small dogs now (well, my parents do) but we used to have a husky.

I would really like a Newfoundland, but I live in the south, and its just too hot. I am also interested in Rhodesian Ridgebacks...I really would prefer a mixed/half/cross breed though. German Shepherds are nice too.

Dude..we have two of them. Although I think they might be Bichon/Miniature Poodle, not toy. Eitherway, they are really neat dogs.

Several yard cats....great mousers/hunters. Keep the surrounding area relatively free of vermin and snakes. These three were pretty much walk-ups needing care and food.....gave them both and they've become part of the family.


Then there's our Mallard duck, Plucky. He was a save after he landed in the road and was run over by a car not far from our house. Now he resides in our flight pen that originally housed a breeding pair of Sumatran pheasants.

You know, my wife and I almost got a Newfie, until we learned about the drool factor. That made us look at other breeds, and the Pyr fit our family like a glove. Best dog I've ever had.

we have a German Shepherd on the farm back home. used to have two but one died last winter

his surviving buddy RME (pronounced 'army') is doing well, and at 4 years old is at the top of his game. we got him from a kennel that breeds Shepherds for the Ontario Provincial Police. his lineage is amazing - all his ancestors were kickass police dogs. he's just a fun-loving farmboy though! i miss him, i need to get out to the farm more!!

Shepherds rule, Bouviers would be a close second for me. I'd like to get a Golden Lab one day too. dogs rule, and i love cats too.

It was a compromise with my wife... he wanted a little dog and I wanted a more masculine dog, so we got a little dog with a beard. Plus they don't shed, big bonus.
