What can I expect?

My friend recently let me borrow an Asus FX5950 Ultra AGP 8X, like this one. I'm dropping it into a system with a P4 2.4 GHZ, Intel 865 chipset and 1 GB Corsair XMS.

What kind of gaming performance should I get with those specs? Will it run something like BF2 at 1024x768 (or even 1280x1024)? I'm getting most of the parts soon and I'm wondering if it will hang with the latest games.

This is identical to my system,

P4 - 2.53 northwood
foxconn 865 Intel chipset
1.25gb RAM - DDR333
9800pro 128mb
80gb SATA

I can play the BF2 demo @ 1024x768 with very good settings, no lag

I think even the 9600XT card can also play BF2 without choking too much.

Sounds good to me. I'm not a l33t gamer anyway: I'm just interested in seeing Madden 06, San Andreas, and HL2 run at decent speeds / resolutions.
