What can my old computer play nowadays?

I got myself a custom-built computer a little over 3 years ago. Back then was top of the line, heh... now, I think no comparison. I haven't done any gaming at all so I don't know what can it play now and how average (heh) the specs are. Well:

P4 2.3 GHz
1GB PC2100 DDR RAM
GeForce4 Ti4600 128 MB AGP
200 + 80GB 7200 rpm HD

So, how crappy is this compared to today's world? Can I still play anything? =)

Probably can handle Half Life 2 at low details.
Definitely can run UT2004 at high details on smaller maps

the CPU is gonna drag you back on UT.

i have a P4 2.4 downstairs, 100Mhz FSB and it can play it alright, but generally it gets easily bogged down to 20 fps sometimes less

Itll play anything (except BF2) alebeit at low settings.

It's way below entry level now. You can increase performance a lot by buying a 6600gt though. They're like $150 or less.

dude this is way better than mine, i am using a 3 year old machine that has p4 2.0 GHZ 512 ram and wait for it --- drum roll please radeon 7500 with 32 MB ram. it plays most games at very low detail yes even HL and cs:s (not doom 3 or farcry). most RTSs play OK. needless to say its time for a new box i am considering A64 3000+ and a 7800 GT card

if you want to play newer games just get a 6600gt or x800gt or xl or something. The RAM & CPU are decent enough ot handle most games.

it can run all games at med-lowest settings. (except f.e.a.r. ...)

my p3 and gf2 stopped playing games up to unreal tournament
