Lease is up this summer and I'm looking at a variety of cars. Right now I'm eyeballing an old Subaru wagon as a project car. Might lease again - the new Altima is really nice (38 MPG!). Dunno yet.

Currently I have a Mustang Convertible 2013 V6, Automatic Transmission, Race Red Color

Should've never bought the V6 it's very underpowered especially that I was used to driving a Camaro V8 Manual Transmission 1998 model before that

When I test drove it it was pretty decent but when I actually bought the car there is a lag from the time you press the accelerator till you actually start seeing any acceleration.

Guess the gear rations need tuning

advice to anyone who wants to buy this car...DONT! either get a V8 or dont bother with the V6 crap

Has anyone here driven the new Camaro with the 323 HP V6? Looking into leasing the stick-shift model this summer. Not interested in any of the other engines (hey, 30 MPG). Underpowered or pretty fun?

I for one would actually like to see what people actually drive in a thread asking what vehicle you drive. *gasp*! This makes me wonder how many of the 'comp stat sigs' are really accurate.

I'm curious to know as to what makes you think this. No one here is posting some super rare unobtainable car. These are all fairly common everyday cars.

The V6 Camaro and Mustangs are frequently available at the major car rental companies, albeit with automatics. I suggest renting one over a weekend as an extended test drive for a good approximation of the V6 with stick. Weekend rates are dirt cheap. Reserve a mid-size car and at the time of rental, ask for a (possibly free) upgrade to the pony cars.

Having rented both, I felt like a poser driving them, more so in the Camaro than the Mustang. The power felt adequate, but you want more than "adequate" with these cars.

we got ours for just under a grand, and so far have only had to put $400 into it to keep it in good running condition, though it needs a shift bushing kit, a fresh new paint, and some bodywork in hard to see areas. Just hit 175k and still bowling away the stupid of the ricers.

IMO having that little in a car that is reliable and so fun to drive is awesome!
