you can drive?

I can drive the van because it has $44,000 worth of modifications.

I bought the car because I like boats, I just have my siblins drive me in it lol.

holy crap! the modifications is almost twice the value of the car!

do u mind explaining what the modifications are? how do u steer? joystick?

Don't mind at all. The work is being done, so I can't take pics or videos, (I promise to when it's done) so I'll describe the van I got my license in, and what I ordered.

Van is lifted off of the frame, foor is cut out and welded back in 6" lower so I can drive from my powerchair.
Doors are modified to open/close by remote.
Automatic chair lockdown system.
Tri-pin on the stock wheel to slide my hand in.
Almost everything on this page except the DS-2000, and DIGIDRIVE II...err...I guess thats not quite almost everything LOL.
Low effort steering so my arm doesn't tire.

I'll give you guys a full review when I get it.

Titled in my name (and paid for and maintained/insured by yours truly):

Previously:

1976 Porsche 914 2.0 (traded away)

Currently:

1989 Porsche 944 2.7
1995 Lincoln Mark VIII
1982 Honda CB450 SC Motorcycle (for sale, will soon be in the market for a used Valkrie)

Not bad for a 22 year old, eh?

Had a 1987 Porsche 924S (and before that a 1988 Accord) that was titled in my dad's name for insurance purposes too, but I suppose that doesn't technically count for this poll.

Absolutely. I'm 100% mentally the same btw. Physically it's fine. I was approved by a licensed evaluator with 25 years experience in this exact thing.

I took the exact same DMV tests as everyone else. Same written, same road test, same instructors. Passed everything first try.

*Grrrrrrrr . . . . can't post here until I disable NIS.

1998 Ponticrap Grand Am (2 door)
1996 Dodge Stratus (bought new, paid off)
1990 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 (paid off)
1989 Chevy Camaro Iroc-Z (restoring, 97k miles very good condition, everyday driver)

Insurance rates in Denver might force me to get rid of two of my vehicles.

It's fairly well latched down by a crash tested latch system.

I've had it for about 5.5 years now. I might be selling it next year, not sure what I will be replacing it with yet (depends if i'll be going to med school or graduate school and if i'm in CO).
