What cars have aged well?

I've noticed that some cars seem to age really well, while others look old the next day. What are some cars that you think aged well?

My picks:
Latest 300ZX
92-96 GM pickups
'90s BMWs

They all have a style that if they were to come off the line today, people wouldn't say "nasty".

Picks for cars that didn't:
PT Cruiser (already looks old)
'70s Camaros

Honorable mention:
Grand National, somehow it aged well despite the Regal not aging well.

Disagree on the PT Cruiser. It was designed to look retro.
I think Miata and 240SX fastback aged pretty well. Also 90s Mercedes C-Class and early 90s Camry.

The '96 - '01 Chrysler Sebring convertible has aged well.
And my favorite body style for the Accord (about 1997 to 2002?) has aged well.

I'm just not a fan of the huge lights that cars are getting today.

Oh, the '97-'03 Dakota still looks great.

1992 through 2001(?) camrys still look ok. the ES300s based on those cars, particularly the later versions, still look pretty good.

1990 and 1991 they were still square little compacts, camry and ES250 both.



the LS400 still looks good.


the original 240Z still looks good, assuming you see one in good condition. even better if the rubber bumpers are off of it or in really good shape.


i think the M45, not the current FM based version but the one before that, looks great to this day. however, i share that opinion with about 3 other people. i think zenmervolt is one of them. then again, i like my big luxury cars to look stately, rather than like jelly beans.


the 80s merc SLs have aged well as well.

Trans-Am WS6 = timeless. Things look freakin amazing.
