Anyone else notice this? If you are in a dark room and you turn off a crt you can still see it glowing for a while. What causes this?

the intertia of the particles of light are still emitting diodes which keeps the screen light for a bit.

it's the phosphors (sp). they tend to retain some energy, like the stuff in watches.

The fireflies inside aren't sleepy yet.

Yeah...I know...groan.

It's getting close to my bedtime.

Fapping must be painful.

I just clip on some power cables to the foil and let the current do my work.

Hi, The Second Annode Voltage of 30,000 Volts or up on larger CRTs takes a long time to completely bleed off. It's causing the phosphorous on the screen to glow. May stop afer up to a day. There may be a lot more to this, so you may get a more detailed reply. Jim

There is strong evidence that WMD are found inside monitors.

Since sanctions never work, you should invade your monitor to get the WMDs!
