what commericals do you hate?

radio: sit-n-sleep (larry and irwin), robbin's brothers (skip and steve)
tv: mastercard ".... priceless" commercials

the mastercard commercials were clever and funny the first three/four times they did them. ever since then they have made me want to stab baby jesus. you might say that the two radio commercials are effective because i associate mattresses with sit-n-sleep and engagement rings with robbin's brothers, but i hate the commercials so much that i would never step foot in either store.

The Chevy commercial with the cars following the basketball.
That commercial with the guy in the yellow and black suit with the question marks all over him. Matt something. I wanna fvcking kill him.

I like Capital One commercials and the Geico Robot commercial.

Make me want to punch the people in the commercials.


Of course, I want to punch a lot of real life people too, so that's not surprising.

I just buy the shows I like on DVD.

There was one pic floating around (on the web) of a magazine ad for Puma.
The girl was kneeling in front of the guy and she had some goo on her leg.

THAT would have been a wonderful live action commercial ad for TV.
Too bad the religous nuts would have it banned.

If a commecial is so annoying that you remember the name of the product/company then they have done something right.

That being said...any SBC Yahoo commecial featuring Eric Clapton music. It has ruined at least two great Clapton songs for me...

GOOOOOD question. Not all the shows on DVD are from the last two years.
I have been pleasantly supprised to find so many old good shows have been remastered with commentary from the original cast and crew. I missed the last few seasons of Seinfeld and Fraiser. So they will seem like new episodes to me when they come out on disc. And every once in a while a friend will suggest a show. But I'll only watch it if they have the DVD. Thats how I got interested in 24.

there are many commercials that are annoying but I really hate those inane car commercials.
It used to be that only the local car dealerships turn up the volume to grab your attention but now Nissan and those guitar riffs are so much louder than the regular programming.

I hate all AOL commercials, but that recent one with the spam drives me bat sh|t insane. Some one, somewhere must die for that. Executing some one as punishment is the only way to assure such things don't happen again.

The shoe commercial where they guy asks if you know what it means to be the number one stunna. I don't know what kind of shoe it is, and frankly I don't care. The guy needs to be bitch-slapped and told he's a dumbass for calling himself the number one stunna. I don't think even he knows what that means.

I don't like the converse commercials, but since they make the best shoe on earth, I'll let it slide.
