That's an ASUS board, yes? Then are you using the "Flashback" method or external SPI programmer?
Flashback methode...
I used the methode somewhere here (can not find it back now) to change the the value under 2F +4 and 3 values to the right to -4 with a hex editor. Then opened the file in Ubu 1.66 and removed the microcode and saved the bios (as STXX99.CAP like it must be for USB flashback)
Placed the saved bios on a USB drive and used the flashback button with the stick in the flashback usb connection on the board. Flashed it and then my computer stopted working. now i am flashed to one of the versions on the forum here but it is a -50mv locked version and i have problems with loading the efi driver and i would like to test if other values have better result because this is giving me not good ones. So i want to have a plain bios without microcode.
Hope i found out how to manually add microcode's to an efi driver to test which will work the best because i need a microcode for osx otherwise my machine freezes. But for now want to test on Windows 10 which code is the best.
If i get my bios working....
EDIT: Have it working!
Just downloaded latest UBU 1.69.5 and opened the original bios and removed the mc, saved and flashedback
