thank you very much kjboughton
but i use this and dont work unlock....
my cpu 2696 v4 Broadwell-E/EP
please help me and help for v4 broadwell unlocked thank you...
im waiting for you for unlocked method for V4...
Its a 2695v3 ES, 2.2 ghz regular, 2.5 ghz turbo all cores. 14 cores, 28 threads.
Since its my primary system, I am a little worried about problems with a "bricked" motherboard or ES compatibility problems. What do you think ?Did you attempt in conjunction with modified BIOS to removal Broadwell microcode?
Sorry if I'm mistaken but as I understand this thread about getting CPUs to run at their turbo speed all the time. ES versions have significantly lower turbo clocks so you can't get that high. Otherwise how would that work?145W TDP... I can see 3.3GHz on all cores as highly probable. You will likely need to apply a negative offset voltage for the core and possibly uncore domains to reach this frequency.
no :-(It seems we are one step closer to XEON v4 unlock
yes.. i flash it with flash bios usb (flashback) and yes system boot...but no unlock coreDid you attempt in conjunction with modified BIOS to removal Broadwell microcode?
Hi Kris
a step forward ..
is it mandatory it seems to delete Broadwell microcode?

If it possible I will try.The assumption is yes as this is how it is with Haswell-E/EP. I could override the check...
yes.. i flash it with flash bios usb (flashback) and yes system boot...but no unlock core
all core to x28...
old post CANONKONG say with MSR change working
CANONKONG 2696 v4 set and do that set to all core turbo
but no say what doing this methode..>>
CANONKONG, do you think this is possible with stepping 1 v3 Xeons (ES) and with v4 Xeons??
Does this hack of yours still require a bug in CPU microcode?
Stepping 1 v3 Xeons (ES) can use V3-1.FFS. I have test v4 Xeons,it worked with change the MSR.

I understand why your motherboard is booting
It seems kris modded bios has inside 0406F1 microcode..
not meAhhh. Yes, now I see what's going on. The modded BIOS I uploaded has Haswell-E/EP microcode removed and Broadwell-E/EP microcode present (remaining, untouched).
You would need the opposite. Let me work on that now.
So I flashed the X99 Taichi bios, and bricked it. But the Taichi has bios A and B. I switched to bios B, and am back, but I want to restore bios A. How do I do that ?

UPDATE: ASUS Z10PE-D8 WS BIOS modded to delete Broadwell-E/EP microcode
yes i check this soon...if you have time to check this one

this should be without xeon V4 microcode..but my motherboard does not post with it :-(
Thank you
