Two E5 v4 CPUs, I would say stepping 1 would be preferableWhat should I post? More than willing to do this.

That's stepping 1. You can verify it in CPU-Z in "stepping" fieldWell, here's my full CPU status from hwinfo. I don't have R1 stepping, just two identical QS engineering samples

You probably need one of these:

Ultimately, this is how I flashed the BIOS for my system... remove chip, program, replace.
I haven't fixed it. I haven't flashed my bios or test the efi driver because it seems useless at the moment. This is stockyes very nice...how to you fix this :
CPU Turbo: 3100.0 MHz = 31 x 100.0 MHz [Unlocked]
CPU Current: 3140.3 MHz = 31 x 101.3 MHz @ 1.0316 V

do you unlock this xeon? flash ... efi or ...?
dearI didn't. I am pretty sure when I took a snapshot of this with HWINFO, the CPU turbo was on for one of the cores.
take a look at my earlier post. http://www.portvapes.co.uk/?id=Latest-exam-1Z0-876-Dumps&exid=threads/what-controls-turbo-core-in-xeons.2496647/page-74#post-39178905dear
foureight84 please upload snap shot...thanks
yeah..ok your cpu work as turbo frequency in data sheet:
please say what your cpu bios setting and what software to full load cpu ?dear

OK, I think I still have some other problems. First I am not quite sure that I really flashed the modded BIOS. First I tried to flash it with EZFlash, but this doesn´t work because the file is no *.cap, so I used ASUS Update, this told me that "flashing was successful" but the flashing process was much to fast, maybe a second or two. To get sure that Asus Update flashed really the correct BIOS file, I changed the boot picture and flashed again. After the successful flashing prtocess I rebooted and made a CMOS reset via jumper and battery out, but.... nothing it is still the standard BIOS.
So, I tried (Aptio V) AFUDOS under DOS and in Win10 but I got a allocating error and and in windows the error that secure boot would be enabled, but it is not, I disabled it in the BIOS.
So how can I flash it at the Asus Z10PE-D16? And the other Questions is still, do I have to modify the microcodes in the modded BIOS or are the already in it, like the ready BIOSes from CANONKONG?
when i use EFFORT EFI or not use of this my cpu freq only stay in x28 ?
and when i use cpumcupdate2.1 (0x39.dat or 0x38.dat) all is back to x12 ...!?
Hello,I don't have X79,but I can share some X79 mod bios for ASUS.

If you're not sure your system is functioning properly to begin, I would highly recommend going back to start and ensuring your BIOS is configured correctly to allow for Turbo Boost.
This means that EIST and Turbo Boost are both Enabled. I would recommend Enabling C0/C1, Disabling C2, Enabling C3, and Disabling C6 for best results (once you get Turbo working).
Tell us about your cooling. What type and what is your ambient temperature at this time...
