Bit off topic, but before this rig (ASRock EP2C612 WS) I had the good ol z9pe-d8 WS with 2x ES (B0) 2665...rocked at the time. But now with 2x 18 cores/72 threads (e5-2696 v3) a lot of my programs were defaulting to one processor, due to the windows processor group max 64 thread count BS. Well can confirm, (just fired up Maya and Vray after bit of a hiatus), Vray is absolutely maxed out 100% on all 72 threads, and GOOOES like no tomorrow if you use hybrid cpu/gpu rendering. Yet to test Arnold, or Nuke and some other things. Adobe..well start turning off cores, it still sucks! Hope that helps! (Whew so relieved 72 threads aren't just for cinebench bragging!).
