what DDR3 ram to buy

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone of you guys can help me out so that i can buy the right DDR3 ram to my budget ---> 120 dollars after rebate would be good.

i came up with the above list but i don't quite know which one is better and even if anyone of you can help me and explain to me how all the timings and CAS work it would be great. thanks in advance

and i also wish that anandtech does an review for like cheap DDR3 rams and compare all of them that would be great for many of us.

are you set on just getting patriot ram? if so that CAS8-8-8-24 DDR3 1600 kit is your best bet, especially with the $25 MIR. alternatively, this kit from Gskill isnt bad either. http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820231230. if you want to pay a bit more for the "premium" stuff, the corsair XMS3 kit is $94 after MIR http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820145236

You can Google about memory timings and get more information than you can digest.
That said, timings are almost meaningless these days as far as straight performance goes.
I use timing ratings as a measure of chip quality, when DIMM voltage conformas to the JEDEC standard for the memory type...
DDR2 = 1.8-1.9v DDR3 = 1.5v

The best quality memory will have the lowest CAS rating at the standard voltage.
Picking quality memory is a matter of balancing your budget with lower CAS ratings and proper voltage.

By extension: is the 1.65v limit something you want to stay as far away from as possible when picking out RAM or just something you don't want to exceed? (That Patriot DDR3/1600 actually does look pretty good, even for a non-OCer with an incoming i7/920...)
