I picked up some ECC memory. My Motherboard does NOT like it.
Gigabyte GA8-PE667 Ultra
Gigabyte GA8-PE800 Ultra
I'm now thinking it is 512 on each side = 1 GB. Is this correct?
Here is the confusing part:
Labels tell me:
Infineon which IMO is a great PC memory maker.
HYS72D84300GBR-6-C
512MB DDR 333 CL 2.5 ECC Reg
Assembled in Portugal
370-6643
1GB DIM ECC DDR1/333 2 X 512
Individual chips:
HYB250256400CC-6
FVV37015
So this could be 1Gig of memory which is larger than my PC can handle. I'm not sure. IF you understand these labels, feel free to post and/or drop me a note.
I can also send you a jpg photo of the chips if you wish.
I have posted it on the for sale board, but I would appreciate any help to list it correctly and satisfy my own desire to know.
Thanks in advance.
Jeff
