Bought myself a quadcopter a few months back. Barely used it. Has a built in camera, cost me $80. I'm getting my feet wet for this. http://www.amazon.com/DJI-CP-PT-0000.../dp/B00HJOTIFS

Wow lots of quadcopters in this thread, apparently drones were the hot gift this year:

http://www.theverge.com/tldr/2014/12/25/7449183/drones-for-christmas-presents

I got a HAK909, had NO IDEA I was getting anything remotely fun for Christmas It's amazing! And huge! Definitely has a Terminatorish feel to it when you bank it forward for chase mode :awe: The gyro system is really incredible, one of the easiest things I've ever had the privilege to fly. I understand why people are freaking out about them since they're known as war & camera tools, but we've had cheap R/C helis for years, and R/C planes before that...this is simply a better chopper.

My big present this year was an Instant Pot Smart, which is a Bluetooth electric pressure cooker. You can make cooking scripts on your phone to control the time, heat, and pressure, which lets you do slow cooking, pressure cooking, rice cooking, anything really. Already did ribs & some other stuff, came out great! I'll have to post a dedicated thread on it once I get some more hands-on experience.

Also got a gift card to a local kitchen supply store & used it tonight to pick up a crazy nice Waring double waffle maker with flip functionality. The flip is really nice for cooking evenly, and being able to cook two at one time is super convenient when you need to make a bunch at once. I made dessert waffles for dinner...topped with peanut butter, whipped cream, and melted chocolate. Going off to pass out in a sugar coma for the night now

Also got a great gift from my ATOT SS, already put everything to good use, many thanks for all of the thoughtful goodies

nope. and i'm going to regret it. the age she is right now is priceless.
With cell phones recording our every movement, you should fix that.

I wish I had written down the funny things he's said. Hilarious. He's quite the smart ass...like his mother.:whiste:
No, they are not easily managed and as they get older, there is a HUGE AMOUNT of drama. With that said, I still wouldn't trade my two girls for every boy in the world!
That's because you never had one.

My boy spent 6 hours with me today, finishing tearing off a roof, putting in all new rafters, and climbing like a monkey to help me get all the 1x4 furring strips in place. Tomorrow - new steel roof goes down. Let's see your daughter do that. Boys are useful around the house. Well, unless having someone to wash dishes, dust furniture, vacuum floors...

My daughter could probably wink at the frat boys and get them to do it for me!

Cash, A Galaxy Gear 2, 4 port USB hub for my Mac, books for my Kindle, candles and chocolate. Best thing though is seeing how happy my family was with the gifts I picked out for them!

If I ever have kids that I lived with I would want a girl. I have one, but I don't see him (it's a long story). Girls I think are easily managed. Would you agree?

Uuugh, no. LOL.

I mean seriously, i'm a tough dude. I don't think I can remember my dad saying he loved me. When I took my daughter the the doctor one day she was sick (scared the shit out of me because I was watching her and never seen this before) she was on the examination table and she looked at me with a "daddy help me" eyes and man I just busted out in tears. WTF??? I do not cry for much of anything.

Now just imagine that scenario 365 days out of the year and you can figure out how well they are easily managed. LMAO.

One other thing I didn't mention... a 3# bag of chestnuts I got for myself. Holy shit those things are good. Very simple flavor, and I sometimes get a bad one that tastes like forest floor, but even that isn't all bad. I'm gonna have to start noticing chestnut trees more, and cut the expense a bit. They're kind of expensive at $5/pound.
