I'm just a 20 year old kid so at most I can say I major in EE. Looking around at the other departments, I'd try to do biomedical or materials if I knew I wouldn't fail hard at chemistry/orgo. One of my lab partners really wants to do something with music, but his parents won't pay for it.
My cousin has a degree in chemical engineering and works for Hess, but after a few years he says he would go back and go into mechanical if he could.
