* Weird micro-vibration at 70MPH, in the steering wheel & pedal.

Might want to take it back to the dealer and have them check the wheel balance. My Mitsu did things like that at speed when I first got it and a balancing was all it too to get rid of it. If your car is a 2013 you're probably still covered by the "adjustment" period.

There's nothing to like about my car, that's much easier to answer. LOL

But hey, it's just my commuting to work car and nothing else.

2009 Mazda 6i. Needs more power and less road noise in the cabin. Rest of it is fine.

06 Acura TL 6mt.
- Trunk has a pass through, not a fold down
- Exhaust tips you can clearly see the step down in pipe size in the tip.
- More rattles than I'd like
- Non DIN standard radio chassis makes putting in a aftermarket unit hard, but with factory integration this is on nearly every car these days.

Most of the rest of annoyances have been modded by now.

For what it's worth, at least they fixed it on the next model. My 2006 has a 5-speed auto, and changing the air filter only requires unsnapping four big metal clips and lifting the hose up.

My only complaint with mine is that the seat needs to slide back about another inch. I'd be a lot more comfortable if it did.

The eighth gen is by far a better car though the seventh has a nicer interior IMO. The new Civics are all dash.

2011 Civic sport,5 speed manual.

Car is great, complaints are nothing major..

Rear suspension is my biggest complaint. Camber issues on Civics for years, rides like garbage with people in the backseat. (bouncy and harsh)

Complaints about things like power are not that fair, my car is not fast, but I knew that when I bought a reliable commuter car, which this car has been. Have put almost 60K miles on it in 2 years now. No reliability issues whatsoever.

2008 Honda Civic Si Sedan

- No torque (surprise!)
- Short gear ratios (common in Honda's)

Everything else is great

Edit: Forgot to add that Honda has terrible paint lol

No trunk latch in the car, must be opened via key. Later years had a latch, I think, but what the hell was Honda thinking? Maybe to keep items in the trunk safe when it's parked with the roof off?

On the flip side, the only things I've really had to change in its 210,000 miles are some bushings and the oil.

Honda Insight x3

1) I'll never be able to consider 55mpg good again.

2004 mach 1 mustang. Gas mileage is horrid. No aux port for MP3. Too much cheap plastic for a limited edition car. Everything else is golden.

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. I wish it had the 8-speed transmission and the updated touchscreen, but that's relatively minor. I wish it had better gas mileage, but one doesn't buy a Jeep GC SRT8 for the gas mileage...

The other thing is that the rain-sensitive wiper blades don't really work that well at choosing the right interval.

Other than these two points, the car is damned near perfect.

-Should get better mileage for a 2.3L hatchback, or could have more power for the same mileage.
-No sixth gear. (Might help with mileage to not cruise at 3250 rpm+)
-Mediocre sound insulation.
-It's black inside and out (Too hot in the summer).

Otherwise, it's been a good car, and delivered all that I expected for the last 6 years.

Forgot that about my 6 as well. The mileage is awful for a 4-banger. Most fill-ups are in the low-20s MPG!

My truck is underpowered and it has a lot of suspension noise. It also gets bad gas mileage.

Sounds like my Ranger.

Still, I like the thing; it's only given me minimal trouble since I bought it over 10 years ago. The Vulcan has earned the name 3.Slow, but it is solid.

- All the backends of this generation are virtually invisible when backing up. I added a spoiler to mine just to have that reference point. The rear light profile in general is probably one of the least appealing out there.
- Touchy low tire pressure sensor. Can trigger on really wet roads.
- Minimalist cup holders. It folds out from the center armrest and is pretty flimsy.
- I have the LS 3.8L engine in mine. I actually would've preferred the 3.4L. It's remarkably easy to muscle ~33MPG on the highway when they're rated for 29. Only once was I able to hit 28.5 on the 3.8 (rated 27).
- Oil filter is behind the right front wheel.
- Coolant reservoir tends to get dirty.

Not much we dislike about it so far, but some of the switches/controls and their placement just don't make sense. The dash lighting control dial is just damned hard to find when seated.

Can't make the window switches completely non-auto.

The power tilt on the driver's seat doesn't actually lift the seat, just pushes up the front of the seat. Not exactly what I've had in other vehicles where the seat really tilts back.

Could use more power, but couldn't everything?

No HID headlights. Unforgivable, esp. given the GX's base price. Hell, our Murano had them....no excuse for the GX not to have them.

And who the F thought putting the door lock/unlock buttons on the key itself was a good idea? Give me a fob....have hit the damned buttons too many times turning the key in the ignition.

Only minor issue so far is the cup holders are right behind the shifter, making them useless.

2009 gmc 1/2 ton.

the rear suspension is a bit bouncy. I have already added firestone air bags. I think I am going to replace the rancho's with bilstine 5100's and maybe add the helwig swaybar.

I wish i had the 6 speed instead of the 4.

I get a little wind noise out of the drivers door.

rear doors on ext. cab can swing 180 degrees (which is awesome) but can go a bit further to dent the box side.

I wish the rear glass had a bigger opening.

overall, i love the truck.

Huge blind spots. Driving is fine but it's a PITA when I'm trying to back out of a parking space.

  • There's a problem with the gas tank that sometimes causes fuel pumps to cut the gas flow too soon.
  • Overall build quality seems to be worse than I expected. There are slight rattles from the plastic pieces behind the door handles and the glove box.
  • I'm not sure if this is the right term, but the suspension is too "floaty." I never noticed this when driving a similar model at the dealership, but I think that's because I never drove on any of the roads that have these tiny bumps.
  • I've figured out most of MyFord Touch's quirks, but I'm becoming less trustworthy of the software's integration throughout the car. I'm not 100% certain that I wasn't just imagining something, but when I was driving home the other day (a bit before dusk), I noticed a flicker out of the bottom of my eyes, which was about the equivalent of me turning my lights off and back on quickly. My only guess is that something happened and either my lights cycled or my dash lost its lighting for a second. I'm not terribly pleased at either prospect
  • No HIDs on a $32k car, nor is their an option to add them.
  • Tuxedo Black != Lisa Frank Black. Who in the world thought it was a good idea to put sparkles in a car's paint? It looks like I drove through a strip club! When I first saw it, my thought was, "Are you sure this is mine? This isn't black...."
  • A-Pillars are too thick, which reduces your vision. Maybe it's a conspiracy to get you to buy the blind-spot indicator system. :hmm:

Hmm with some of these complaints, I'm not even sure why I signed the papers to buy the car. I guess part of me just didn't care about the qualms. :|

Only minor issue so far is the cup holders are right behind the shifter, making them useless.

That's where they are on the Fusion as well. Given you have a Mustang, I'm guessing that it's a manual, but mine's an auto. If I've gone out for lunch with someone, it's a pain if we both have a cup, because I have keep my arm raised if I ever want to use the shifter.

2012 Chevy Sonic LTZ (hatchback) here. I only have two real complaints:

1. Terrible transmission. Yes, I know the 1.4T manual would have been the "better" choice, but I don't like driving stick. I have no idea why, but the transmission is CONSTANTLY hunting for a gear, and it drives me nuts.

2. Bad fuel economy for this type of car. Average over the life of my car is 30 highway and 24-25 city. Not bad for a car in general, but pretty awful for a tiny 4-cylinder hatchback.

I love everything else about the car (really) but I might never forgive Chevy for making such an abysmal transmission.

08 Forester, it's not fast enough, it doesn't get good enough gas mileage, I can't fit enough cargo in it, I can't tow enough cargo, and it's not cheap enough.

My ideal car would be 0-60 in 1 second, get 100 mpg, and can tow a house. Since that does not exist in this reality, I went for something that eventually can go 0-60, gets 30ish mpg, and can tow a ton.
