16oz. black coffee. Overnight oats (1/2cup old fashioned oats, 1tbps ground flax seed, 1/2 smashed banana, 1/2 cup plant milk and 1/2 frozen mixed berries). 100% whole wheat toast with natural peanut butter (peanuts and salt) and a piece of fruit (apple, orange, banana, etc.).

Typically a grilled cheese using 2 high fiber pieces of bread(min 4g fiber each),2 slices of whatever cheese i have on hand(real cheese, not processed fake cheese) and a slice or two of lunch meat. If im extra hungry ill also have a fruit smoothie with some fiber added. And of course my morning coffee.

sometimes ill sub the grilled cheese for a bowl of yogurt and granola.

I bought a container of steel cut oats (Quaker) so I'm going to start incorporating that into my breakfast. I might make my first batch of overnight oats tomorrow night. Gonna mix in some blueberries, banana, and honey, with walnuts on the side.

I have a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds. I add a handfull of walnuts/peacans, and dried blueberries. I know it probably has too much sugar, but it's quick and somewhat healthy.

What's more interesting to me than what is how many people choose to eat the same thing every morning.

In addition to my last list:

English muffins, toasted with a bit of butter or raspberry jam. A bagel - blueberry raisin is my favorite in the morning with a cup of coffee, but cranberry is good, too. Just plain, maybe toasted, sometimes with cream cheese. Soft boiled eggs with salt and pepper. An Egg McMuffin. A cinnamon roll from the local diner. A breakfast salad, which might consist of spinach, cucumber, strawberries, feta cheese, and a red wine vinaigrette. Clif Bars. PowerBars.

On weekends: Eggs Benedict. Biscuits and gravy, or just biscuits with butter and jam. Pancakes, french toast, waffles. Steak and eggs.

I'm in the middle of a cut now, so I'm down to veggies, egg whites, and a little fat. My typical is about 2 servings of brussel sprouts, 1.5 cup egg whites (about 35g protein), and a serving of guacamole. Ends up being about 38g protein / 10g fat / 15g carbs. Also have a teaspoon of fish oil.

Black coffee for the buzz.

When I'm not cutting, I'll mix in whole eggs and use avocado oil to cook with. Ends up closer to 25g-30g of fats.

Edit:
Jesus christ - I just read through the foods that some people are eating. No wonder people are so overweight or unhealthy.

Which is pretty much exactly a comment you'd expect to hear from someone who says things like "I'm in the middle of a cut".

Breakfast this morning. Huge chicken biscuit with a sunny side up egg and gravy. Not bad. Wife had the other thing, maple syrup with a little hot sauce mixed in.

Even not in a cut, and even when I was overweight (~230 and 6'0) some of the eating habits I'm seeing here I would be horrified at.
eg 5 sausage links and an english muffin = 13P/42F/2C + 4P/2F/24C = 17P/44F/26C
eg 4 cups oatmeal, 6 eggs, 4 slices toast = 24P/12F/108C + 36P/30F/0C + 24P/6F/96C = 84P/48F/204C !!!!

My breakfast can vary, but I really don't enjoy a heavy breakfast - it makes me feel sluggish and weighted down for the rest of the day. But I'm also not someone who hates themselves if they eat poorly, so I definitely enjoy myself time and again. I usually rotate some of the accessories, eg hummus instead of avocado, peppers instead of brussels, but I really don't get tired of it. Food monotony doesn't bother me.

When I workout in the morning, I'll usually have oatmeal with whey protein in it, or I'll have greek yogurt with oats on top. Sometimes a slice of sourdough bread. Carbs in the morning are nice since almost all delicious breakfast foods are carb based.

I hear steel cut oats can be chewy. If that doesn't work for you try old fashioned or quick oats or a blend of the two.

When I first started eating overnight oats they were the consistency of cookie dough and they were overly filling. You may need to add more liquid the next day. You might also prefer to pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds or more. Every once and a while I don't feel like eating something cold and thick so I may do one or both depending on my mood.

Breakfast can vary slightly, but typically I eat once per hour starting at 6ish am in the following order:

1.5oz Oatmeal -> 1 Banana -> 1 / 1.5oz peanuts -> Mix of berries (blue / straw / rasp / black) -> 1 apple

And that gets me to lunch which I eat within 30-60mins from last fruit. I can't typically eat all at once anymore. And even if I do, I get hungry quickly regardless of size of meal.

Usually a granola bar before my run. Then a protein shake when I get back. Shower. Then a big cup of coffee and some sort of breakfast sammich consisting of a fried egg some sort of cheese, protein (ham, bacon, pastrami, whatever) and a whatever carb sounds good (grilled rye, tortilla, bagel, whatever). When I get into work I have 2nd (3rd?) breakfast of a cliff bar.

I load up calories in the morning.

I like them chewy. That's why I prefer them. I don't do overnight oats, but I cut the water I cook them with by 25%. That leaves them as defined grains when done, and they have a bit of substance.

That's a skip-lunch-and-have-a-salad-for-dinner kinda breakfast. I like to go out have a breakfast like that on a weekend a couple times a year.

Same here. The chewiness is great. I've just started eating them and here's how I do overnight oats:

Heat 1 cup of whole milk in the microwave for one minute
Pour over a half cup of steel cut oats
Add 1 tsp of honey (I use the good local stuff)
Let sit overnight in fridge

I then add some blueberries and sliced banana in the morning after heating it up in the microwave.
