I started in Kingvale in 1990 as a Maintenance Worker. I've promoted 5 times since then.Git a rope!
I've got a pretty long rap sheet myself. Construction paid fairly well for me, ($80-90K/ year) especially since I only had a GED. Only had o e job where my record kept me out. )Lawrence Livermore labs)
Moved up a long way in recent years...damn, I remember when you were in...Kingvale(?) yard.
As for me, I'm a medically retired crane and heavy equipment operator with over 30 years in the seat. I've been "retired" for 15 years.
All things technology in a middle school.
What does an IT consultant mean? What do you do? Systems admin? Network? DBA? Dev?I'm an IT consultant. Anyone else have fun or different jobs? I worked corporate all my life.
Firefighter/Paramedic, currently a Lieutenant (supervisor) assigned to fire engine (equipped with paramedic level gear) and rescue squad. It's fun most days.

Does the fun usually turn into routine for you guys? When i was younger I thought about doing firefighter/paramedic or police officer part time so i can do something fun and exciting. As a hospital pharmacist, the only fun i get is when someone goes into cardiac arrest. And even that gets mundane...
We do...You guys don't have dispensary machines that spit out daily prescription for patients?
lol Nope the mimeos left long before I worked for the school system along with the Wollensak tape recorders, film projectors, and film strip viewers. Oddly enough there are still a few overhead projectors sitting in closets around the building.I have a mimeograph machine in need of repair. Can you fix it for me?
