Voted for the last option (~163K all in last year). Controller (so accountant) at a finance/banking firm.

That's Canadian though, so like five bucks in your United States of America dollars.

So what you are saying is you have to take out loans to buy all those Hollywood movies?

Adult Entertainment Coordinator is my technical title. My income varies greatly between $140k and $350k depending on demand but I have to keep $150k liquid at all times in case of contract breech.

NOC technician. In simple terms I monitor the telecommunication networks across a broad region and act on any issues. Anything from specific equipment alarms to environmental like temperature or power outages etc... and everything in between. I make a bit over 70k base but due to overtime and shift bonuses I make more. I cleared 80k last year. That was a surprise, never made it that high before. I'm kinda scared to see what that will mean tax wise though. Going to be getting my taxes done shortly, got my T4 yesterday.

~$120K 2014. Prior years have been better. Until I opened my own, I never made over $50K. This industry is not known for paying employees well.

The wife made ~$40K and worked a lot harder than me. Trying to convince her to go out on her own.

But we live in SC, have no mortgage/debt. $6500 for the HSA, $6200 for the kid's school, basic bills otherwise.....living the dream.

Medically retired...I make a fuck of a lot less than I did when I was working...

Social Security Disability and union pension...about $36,000/year plus an annuity that I won't disclose.

When I was working, I usually made between $80K and $100K per year as a union crane operator. ($35/hr with a fuck ton of overtime.)

Out of curiosity, can you not sit and work a crane or is sitting the problem? Or, because I have no clue, working a crane is more about sitting?

Tool & Diemaker, to be honest around 37K last year.

A couple years ago was more like 60K, I ought start looking again, off things have happened here since 2010.

At least I still have stock and retirement things that are earning well again, I thought I would be retiring where I used to be and they out sourced a lot of crap and shut the tool room down there.

Haven't really looked that hard for a good one again I guess, was depressed and out of work for almost a year after that.

The wife going to pass me soon I image, and she was out of work awhile, but seems to be rebounding nicely.

At least this is a low cost of living area and we almost have the house payed off and a bit of a nest egg.

I ought to look more again, have pretty much been doing CNC setup and a bit of MasterCam just to get more into that end, I'm not really even doing Tool & Die ATM really, but I've always done a range of things that way.
