When I was reading a Psych book a few years ago it talked about Pavlov's dogs and mentioned an incident where a guy who hated onions started to love onions because his girlfriend loved onions and everytime they kissed, he tasted onions. His behavior and reaction to onions and the smell of onions changed after that.
