What do you guys think of G15?

I just purchased G15.
I like all the backlightening and LCD screen and all but the biggest problem is that
I can't seem to press more than 4-5 keys at once. ( unbelievable considering this is supposed to be a gaming keyboard with high price )

Though this is a critical problem for any FPS that I play, im slightly getting used to this.
Other than that keyboard seems fine at this point. But if there is anything that I should be aware of, I'd be glad to hear it.

So for those of you already own G15 for a long time, what is the biggest pros and cons of this keyboard?

I've had my g15 for about a year now and I love it - I've never had the problem with the multiple buttons, but maybe I just haven't ever pushed that many buttons. The only con I have is the size - I have the original g15 with the huge macro pad on the left - its just too big. But its worth it for the screen - I use it constantly for fraps and temps. I don't know if ill ever go back to a normal keyboard.

I absolutely love it. Although I actually use the programmable keys for everything but games.

Pros: all the buttons and their programmability. (I have old version with 18 keys).
Cons: new version came out with less buttons.

I love mine because of the screen as well. It is very handy in a lot of stuff I do. I'll probably keep going with Logitech's refreshes of the keyboard ... I am not too fond of the new one though, they should probably do what they did with the G9 and add the ability to make the backlighting any color you want through the software but that is probably too much to ask for and it will add like a $23098 premium.

I love my old G15, but the back light on the LCD doesn't work anymore. Don't want to replace it though, coz I don't like the new ones orange back light, or fixed angle LCD. Otherwise agree with above comments, it is very big.

I was wanting the G15 as well. But when I saw the Saitek Cyborg, I switched.

I dont have experience with the G15, but I know how good the Cyborg is. The backlit keys can be changed from amber, red and green. And a few different shades of those colors, and also allows changing of the brightness.

I've owned both the old (blue) G15, and the new one which I'm currently using.

My only complaint so far has been the media buttons, which seemed to slide in place on both (more noticeable on the new one), and feel like they're going to break or stop working. They haven't given me any trouble yet, but I'm waiting for the day.

The older version has more programmable buttons (I never used more than 3-4 of them anyway), is MUCH wider, has a tiltable LCD screen (I always left it in one position anyway, but it was nice to be able to close it), and had blue backlighting.

The new version isn't as wide, has orange backlighting, less programmable keys (6 keys with 3 profiles, for 18 possible macros), and a fixed LCD. I like the newer version much better, but I do miss the blue. The only other thing I liked about the old version was the dial for volume control, compared to the up and down buttons they give now.

Both are great keyboards; I've been very pleased.
